WOYWW: noun

a showing of your craft desk, whether neat or clean

So...what's on your work desk? It's Wednesday and it's time to check in all over the world and see what everyone is up to! Playing along? I hope so, but go HERE and check on the amount of crafters that show up weekly to show their craft desks off, lol..it's addicting!

Last week, some of you might remember that mine was all clean because I had company coming to visit, but it's back to 'normal'! And I swear it WAS clean, for a whole 4 days....and it's amazing how fast it got back into it's 'normal' state of mess! ( I love that I am putting normal in " like normal is something abnormal, lol )  I am currently working on my summer door decoration aka a wreath. Do you remember my snowflake wreath? Well I removed the snowflake pins and covered the white yarn with green wired ribbon. I'm starting out with My Little Shoebox diecut roll up flowers, but I plan on cutting out some more flowers and butterflies to add to it...as I go along....lol

Yesterday I was back at Biltmore Estate with another friend of mine visiting from Florida. I met Karan through a Cricut Circle Crop down in SC and it was sooooo nice to see her again. Plus she bought me some action wobbles, and I am really looking forward to playing with them! Thank you Karan :)
We ate lunch there at the Cedrick's Tavern and wow, I am in LOVE with deviled eggs folks, I thought it was strange that they offered them as appetizers but they were they BEST I have EVER eaten! yum yum yum Seriously! I had the Tavern Deviled eggs with a red sauce and Karan got The Lusty Mustard Deviled eggs.....oh my gosh, my taste buds were dancing with pure joy! Anyone know how to get their recipe? lol
and my drink was a  Biltmore Wassail and rum, which was pretty darn good
( but still think the drinks at the Stable Cafe are better ;), just sayin' )

A fun note, I entered a DCWV Valentine card contest, didn't win but I did make it to the top 5 and was featured HERE on their blog!

Here's hoping that everyone has a wonderful, fun filled crafty day!!

All your pics look delicious and it will be lovely to see your summer wreath. As for the hammered chipboard technique. Versamark your chipboard, brush with perfect pearls, spray with water then hammer with distress hammer. If you don't have a hammer use a pointy object and hit the chipboard until you have lots of indentations. The perfect pearls makes it all stand out when dry. Easy. Nice to meet you (in the hills of North Carolina) from sunny Sydney.

I'm almost afraid to ask what "action wobbles" are!! Lovely crafty desk and I like that you're re-purposing the Christmas wreath and not getting another one to clutter the place up with! Might think about putting my Spring wreath out soon, of course as soon as I don that we'll have 2ft of snow to deal with! Eggs look yummy, especially the one with the mustard.

Your Valentines post made me laugh, but remember... So many men, so few who deserve me!!

Oh, I love deviled eggs! Always have, always will. Those look GREAT. I haven't eaten breakfast yet so will have to eat something quick!

I'm having company this week so my workdesk is empty - thus not participating this week. Still wanted to visit and take a peak.

Hugs,
Kay

I find 'normal' to be rather abnormal myself. Have you ever met 'normal' people? There's something wrong with those folks! Anyway.. glad to see that your desk is back to it's regularly schedule mess because life is more fun that way. And... DCWV has a BLOG?! You were runner up? How excellent! Deviled eggs, yum.

Gorgeous wreath coming on there, Sandee - and as for the rest of your pics, positively mouth-watering!! Thanks for popping over to my blog. The Black Cat range of cutters are designed here in the UK but are available worldwide - in the US they are available from http://thatsscrapinc.com/
Both here in the UK and in the US, there are awesome forums full of experts who are only too eager to help the newbies find their feet, and have a great deal of fun along the way! Black Cat is the make, and the Cougar and Lynx are different models - the Cougar (which I've got) is more powerful. They come in different sizes too. I've called mine Sheba and I got her before Christmas but she didn't come out till the New Year, and we're still building our relationship and starting to get to know each other a little better now! Once you get going on a Cougar, you'll wonder why you were ever satisfied with the one named after an insect lol!!

Waving "hi" back from the beautiful SW of England in the UK, and wishing you happy WOYWW, Shoshi #35

Mmm, now I'm wishing for some eggs. *grin* I really like the bright colors of your rolled flowers on the wreath-in-progress! My in-laws bought annual memberships to the Biltmore for the first couple of years they lived in the area because everyone who came down wanted to visit. [Thanks for visiting my blog earlier.]

I have put it to one side for the moment to think about it, and am in the process of trying another one. Have a lovely week. xx Maggie #98
